More bugs with each new release

When this app was overhauled, it was a big improvement, but I’ve noticed since then, each new ‘update’ seems to just introduce more and more bugs, from simple things like the NAS name no longer displaying when logged in (calls all ‘My NAS’ now) so you can’t be sure which NAS you are working on, to things like auto upload from photos not working well anymore, duplicating uploads, waiting forever, the completed task list keeps reappearing after cleared, videos long that a few min never upload, etc, etc.

I had thought QNAP was FINALLY improving their software quality (or it gets rebuilt and finally improved by people who know what they are doing and have quality standards, then the original incompetent people take over for updates and break it all again, who knows). For such a large company, their software design and quality stands are among the very lowest; the hardware is good, but the software (including the OS on the NAS systems) makes it very frustrating and unreliable to use, just can’t ever depend on it, and spend far too much time dealing with ongoing bugs and new bugs. QNAP does not get a recommendation; other than a recommendation to stay away from their products (NAS/NVR) due to firmware/software quality.
